Signing of Collaboration Agreement between Qatar International Law Firm and Turkish Law Firm WiklundKurucuk aims at the expansion of legal opportunities in Turkey and Qatar as well as to extend a helping hand to Qatari citizens living in Turkey, Qatari Companies and Qatari Investors doing business in Turkey and Turkish citizens living in Qatar and Turkish Companies and Investors doing business in Qatar with regard to any legal issues such as immigration, real estate, investment, business, import- export etc.
In December 2014, the Emir and the President of the Turkish Republic signed an Agreement on the Establishment of the (Higher Strategic Committee) between the two countries. Under that Agreement a large number of ministries, in addition to several public and private institutions, were engaged in the preparation of bilateral cooperation agreements.
Qatar-Turkey High-Level Strategic Committee’s first summit, convened at the level of the leaderships of the two countries which was held in Doha on the 2nd of December 2015.The summit witnessed the signing of the following 16 agreements in different sectors, including security, banking, finance, education, journalism, information, environment, archiving, transport and energy.
Qatar-Turkey High-Level Strategic Committee’s second summit held in the Turkish city of Trabzon on the 18th of December 2016. During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on ways to further develop relations between the two countries in various fields and signed agreements in different sectors.The agreements signed during the first and second meeting of the Committee will further strengthen the close cooperation between the two countries.
